CorpSINs and the Seattle Street News
CorpSINs was a live streamed tabletop RPG Shadowrun campaign that aired on the Twitch channel HyperRPG from March 2016 to June 2017. CorpSINs also featured an innovative community metagame on HyperRPG’s Discord, where Hyper subscribers all played members of various AAA corporations and engaged in PvP shenanigans. The Discord also had a lively RP channel where we would RP our personae in the CorpSINs world, including a pretty epic protest for rights for the SINless that turned into a riot. The CorpSINs campaign chronicled the adventures of a team of shadow runners–Mordecai the Dwarves Mage, Ma1nFram3 the Elven Decker, Fang the Ork Street Samurai, Elsie the teenage Human Face, and Cromwell the Troll Physical Adept, also known as MMFEC. The game was GM’d by RandomTuesday.
Inspired by the show, I put together a (mostly) weekly newspaper where I reported on things in the campaign and things in the metagame from the point of view of an in-character persona known only as the Seattle Street News elf. Over time, the newspaper got lots of contributors from the community and even from GM RandomTuesday herself. It was something I was really proud of and so want to give you a few links to the Seattle Street News and all the related CorpSINs goodness.
